Professor Epelman joined the faculty in the Fall of 1999. She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in linear and nonlinear optimization. Her research concerns many aspects of mathematical programming, including theory of linear, semidefinite and nonlinear optimization and development and analysis of algorithms.
